National Botanic Gardens

As a former biologist I am always looking forward to visiting a botanic garden. The National Botanic Garden of Dublin is located in the north of the city and we were able to walk there within an hour from our accomodation. The botanic garden offers a large variety of plants from local species to tropical trees or succulents from dry habitats.
