Cliffs of Moher

These cliffs are the equivalent to Northern Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway. I had a friend coming over, so we rented a car and drove two to three hours from Dublin to the west coast of Ireland. On the same trip we made a stop at Ennis, where my friend had a local Ingress community. It’s a similar game to Pokemon Go. The people there are very friendly and I got to eat in a original irish pub. I had beef and guiness stew with mashed potatoes. Then we continued to drive to the cliffs. I recommend that only the driver goes to the parking lot, because you can go to the cliffs without tickets, otherwise you will spend money per person that’s in the car. The Cliffs of Moher have some gift stores and visitor center with a cafe, an exhibition and unisex toilets. Yes, unisex toilets. It was my first time experiencing it. You can also get an audio guide at the visitor center. They have wifi poles along the way for it. The view there is just amazing. The cliffs are 214m high and you can see the Aran Islands from there. If you visit the cliffs before August you might be able to see the local Puffins, a bird that looks like a crossing of penguins and parrots.
