First Hours in Belfast

We arrived in Belfast and took a cab to our accomodation. It was a typical brick house, but it was decent and comfortable enough. I was wondering why there are so many of them, however UK sits on clay and it’s very cheap and resistant to fire, so it has become tradition.

After a short break we took a walk in the neighborhood and visited Queens University. I welcome the warning signs for drinking alcohol in the area. The 500 Pounds fee is insane though.

Next to the university is the botanic garden. As a former biologist, I must visit a botanic garden when there is one in town. The flora and fauna displayed in the greenhouses is always interesting.
